Restaurants Globe closes today

Ugh:

Hi Cliff,

Just wanted to let you know that the Globe will be closing today instead of this Friday.

I had a gift certificate lying around and made a reservation for tomorrow night, but they called to let me know that they canceled and are shutting down tonight.

I really loved this place when it was at its peak. I had an incredible duck breast dish here and some great pasta too. The interior design was very cool and sleek without being show-roomy and the service was always good, especially at the bar.

Very disappointing - though I may be to blame. I've had some wonderful, inventive meals at Globe over the years, but it had fallen off my radar lately. Of course money has fallen off my radar (and bank account) too. I'm sorry to see it go.
