Best restaurant name ever

Posted by Besha Rodell on Mon, Dec 8, 2008 at 6:27 PM

My friend Tim Ross in N.C. has informed me (via a Facebook status update) that Chapel Hill is getting a restaurant called Cypress on the Hill. A very clever friend of his named Richard Allen has already posted the following brilliant insight:

Here is something you can't understand...how I could just grill a lamb

Mrs Rodell did you know that the restaurant, CHICAGO VERY OWN closed its doors? It was located next to Spoon Thai restaurant on Marietta st. They always had their windows closed. That would have been a nice space, but they didnt know how to run a restaurant. sad another bites the dust

Chicago's Very Own was a restaurant? I thought it was "Atlanta's First Christian Supper Club." (drive by it twice a day, frequently eat at Spoon, and never saw anyone go in or out of Chicago's Very Own. Saw some very bored looking servers standing outside once.)

So, do they serve foie gras? Or do they, instead refrain from that membrane?

I'd like to mention that foodieman takes a good deal of time to slight Mizz Rodell about her choice of food establishments or her mention of said food establishments and her voting processes, but when confronted with questions/accusations/jibes, he pulls away and claims he's only "joking" not undermining her reviews. Yet now here he is, tagging on a legitimate restaurant closing, being coy and not so nice, calling her out for no reason. I understand that I don't frequent this nor the Atlanta Cuisine boards frequently, but I do call for being polite. You obviously have issues with Miz Rodell, foodieman, and I don't begrudge you your outlook. It's just that you start off as an arse, then repent, and then just go off being a jerk to her in some other food post.
