Another shooting death

Posted by Cliff Bostock on Fri, Jan 16, 2009 at 2:36 PM

This one occurred in East Atlanta after a couple left the Graveyard Tavern. In this case, it was the robber who was shot and killed. Fox 5 has details.

Atlanta residents you will continue to get exactly what you deserve high taxes, high crime, and lousy services; because you continue to elect the same sorry, lying, unethical, and incompetant leadership over and over again. When new candidates step up you ignore truth for well funded, fast talking crooks and theives like Lamar Willis, Ron Sailor, Jr.,Kasim Reed, Lisa Borders, Robb Pitts, Karen Handel, and Shirley Franklin. But we gave them each another 4 years! of nothing but disasppointment. I am over Black Leadership!

I'm taking over Pennington's position and will bring this city's criminals to their knees! I will exterminate them all with one quick swoop of my finger. Kneel before Zod!!!

The frightening thing is that I think I would prefer General Zod to Pennington. Where's that Phantom Zone entry-device-whatsits that I had lying around?

The whole event is unfortunate. However, maybe the perpetrator should have chosen another local to pursue his endeavor. If he had been keen maybe the name "Graveyard" tavern might of registered more within his consciousness. That said, I find strange humor in the name of the location, not the act, nor the final outcome.
