Restaurants Eat, drink and be anti-war

Here's a good reason to hit Manuel's Tavern (602 N. Highland Ave., 404-525-3447 ) this Friday night. The tavern is hosting a tribute to Iraq Veterans Against the War, 7-10 p.m.
So plan to grab a burger and a beer and hang out at Atlanta's original gastro pub with members of the event's sponsoring organizations: Coalition for Student Career Alternatives, Georgia Peace & Justice Coalition, Georgia Veterans Alliance, Grandmothers for Peace, Iraq-Afghanistan Veterans of America, National Association for Black Veterans, Unitarian Universalist Peace Network, Unitarian Universalist Veterans Alliance, Veterans For Peace, Vietnam Veterans Against the War and Vietnam Veterans of America.
