Come and get your huitlacoche

Posted by Cliff Bostock on Tue, Apr 14, 2009 at 5:37 PM

I lunched today on one of my favorite specials at Taqueria del Sol, shrimp and grits with a jalapeno-tomato salsa.  It's also available at dinner this week, but another evening special is particularly tempting -- a grilled flank steak served on a corn tostada wth a relish of fresh corn and huitlacoche, a relative rarity on Atlanta menus.

I got a taste of the relish. Very tasty. And the dish is only $8.99, avaialble at all locations of the restaurant.

And they still don't have any high chairs or wi-fi.
