Bravo has revealed the chefs competing on the new season of "Top Chef" and three chefs from Atlanta - Kevin Gillespie from Woodfire Grill, Hector Santiago from Pura Vida, and Eli Kirshtein from Eno. All this hometown competition should make for an exciting season.

There's a 4th chef on the roster, MIchael Isabella, who has Atlanta ties also. He was the chef de cuisine at Kyma a few years back before he left for DC.

I have to say it makes me smile to know that when I watch this season I have eaten at one of the contestants' restaurants.

the Decatur Focus said that Eurasia's chef would be on this season of Top Chef, too. Were they mistaken?

All 3 are great, but I look for Kevin to best the other two. His food is so creative...

It's pretty funny to see anybody care whether a blog is in existence or not. It couldn't be easier to avoid a blog you don't like. Internets = serious business.

Did anybody make it Woodfire for the 4th? Kevin's terminus BBQ was right down good. I don't think BBQ when I think of Woodfire, but with Kevin there anything is possible. And now he's on the show...can't wait to watch!

Hector Santiago win or lose is an amazing Chef, and a great guy. My Personal opinion regarding Foodiebuddha's Blog it's not the best one around (sucks), the fact that he Spams every food blog in town to get readers does not help, not to mention the fact that he freely disparages many places in town. I for one would love to know what he does for a living. I hope it is not writing, That said impersonating others, and making inane comments representing yourself as them is borderline sociopathic behavior.

Ignoring the chatter above, all three of these chefs are amazing in their own right, and I'm looking forward to them competing against each other and the rest of the chefs I'm hoping one of them brings it home.

Congrats to the three chefs chosen! It is not easy to get on the show, a lot of Atlanta's Chefs tried out this year (even one or two who said they would NEVER). Good luck to all and may the best win!
