Restaurants Hurry and get your chile relleno fix

Hurry to Taqueria del Sol this week to enjoy the last of this year's crop of New Mexico green chiles. The chile relleno, available only at dinner for $3.99, is flawless. Fried in panko, stuffed with white cheese and served over salsa frita, two or three make a complete meal.
By the way, they are not on the menu. You have to ask for them.

would love to, but still despise the cheshire bridge management there.... i guess you can call me the version of the 'cliff whole foods boycotter' of TDS.
Stood in line at the Decatur location last week just for the rellenos. "Flawless" is not a word I would use to describe them, although they were good. (I thought the batter/breading- which was not recognizable as panko- was a bit thick for the tenderness of the chili.) In any case my companion and I were not sure that they were worth the wait, especially considering the daycare atmosphere. (about 7:30 pm midweek)
