I do like them, Sam-I-am

We brunched Sunday at Watershed for the first time in a year or longer. I have to admit I was surprised to see that the menu has not changed at all during my absence. The food remains great, but I'd still like to see some new dishes.

My favorite here is the ham steak with scrambled eggs, creamy grits and biscuits. I couldn't eat the entire slice of ham, so I kept pitching hunks of it onto Wayne's plate. He'd ordered spinach with poached eggs, so he noted the effect of the ham was to turn his plate into "greens, eggs and ham." Get it?

C'mon, let's have some new menu items.

I haven't been in almost two years and was surprised the menu is largely the same. I feel the same about Wisteria. I like the upscale Southern flavors, but I could tell you what's on their menu now without even looking at it. C
