Show your server some love the usual way: money. Not by tipping them more (although that's always welcome), but by supporting them as they ask for a raise in the minimum wage, which has been $2.19 for the past 19 years.
Sound unfair? Support the Wages Act HR 2570, sponsored by Rep Donna Edwards. The bill would raise the tipped minimum way to $3.75 initially, then $5.00 in 2011 and $5.50 by July 2012.
Join like-minded Atlantans at Noni's Deli on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 2 p.m., and learn more about the both the bill and the Fair Eats Campaign, which seeks to highlight and celebrate local restaurants that are committed to treating their workers with dignity.
Check out the Fair Eats campaign's website for more information.
Eugene, how could there be crowds if no one went there?
Pretty soon the Kimball House will be so popular that nobody goes there due to…
Hope everyone had a great time over the weekend and enjoyed some tasty food.
Whimsical? That makes no sense.
We do not go to Kimball or any other restaurant that has a "no reservations"…
