Atlanta Cinco de Mayo restaurant events

Who doesn't need a reason to get drunk on a holiday that doesn't belong to Americans? Because we do! Enjoy any of the following specials and goings-ons in the city of Atlanta on Mexico's special day.

Bone Garden Cantina Food and drink specials all day long, plus live music by Big Mike Geier and dancing by Dames Aflame. Free. 11 a.m.-10 p.m. 1425 Ellsworth Industrial Blvd, 404-418-9072.

The Corner Pub $5 margaritas all day.  Choose from raspberry, apple, pomegranate, blue, or ting-a-rita, made with Ting, a Jamaican grapefruit drink.  Free. 11:30 a.m.-2 a.m.  627 E. College Ave, 404-377-0603.

Dad's Garage presents ?Amigo, Donde Esta Mi Burro?, a jam-packed festival of nachos, margaritas, and an improved Mexican soap-opera. $15-$27. 8 p.m. 280 Elizabeth St., 404-523-3141.

Eclipse Di Luna wants you to free yourself at their Cinco De Mayo Bash with Latin and Brazilian beats and $4 margaritas presented by Dos Equis and Bacardi. Free. 5pm. 4505 Ashford Dunwoody Rd NE, 678- 205-5862.

Ixtlan Restaurant and Lounge will party it up with free admission for women all night and free hookahs for the ladies from 8-11 p.m.  Guys can RSVP to for free entry as well.  $5 margaritas all night. 8 p.m. 2160 Monroe Dr, 404-549-2433.

No Mas Cantina isn't content to have just one money-making lime-flavored booze fest - so they started on May 1st with their "5 days of Cinco" celebration. Specials every day through the 5th, culminating with live music and 2 outdoor bars on the actual day. 180 Walker Street. 404-574-5678.

The Original El Taco is serving up special menu items such as smoked trout with a spicy masa cake and salsa borracho, shredded savory pork tostadas, and grilled chicken with poblano cream over steamed morisqueta.  $18 buckets of Dos Equis and $4 pineapple-infused tequila shots.  Free. 5-10 p.m. 1186 N.
