Burglar magnets

It seems like I constantly hear reports of flat-screen TVs being stolen from restaurants. WSB-TV.com reports the latest:

Atlanta police said two businesses in the same midtown Atlanta shopping center were broken into overnight.

Early Monday morning, police responded [to calls from] Frogs Cantina and Jersey Mike’s Subs, both located at 10th Street and Monroe Drive. Officials said the robbers used a rock to smash in the front doors of the businesses and stole flat-screen TVs.

Three flat-screen televisions were stolen from Frogs Cantina and one was stolen from Jersey Mike’s Subs.

The owner of Frogs Cantina said they do have a surveillance camera and he saw three robbers on the tape leaving in two separate vehicles. He said one of the robbers cut himself on the broken glass and the owner is hoping the blood evidence will be used to track down the perpetrators.

Officials said the robbers were wearing hoodies and bandanas. Police continue to investigate.
