Posted by Cliff Bostock on Sun, Jul 25, 2010 at 11:51 AM

A new farmer's market is opening Tuesday. It's a tomato's throw from Whole Foods, at 536 Ponce de Leon Ave., next to Cactus Car Wash. A press release says this:

inTown Farmer’s Market provides Georgia’s farmers, merchants and artisans with a new, centrally-located and high-traffic venue. Experience the beneficial economic impact of buying naturally grown, or organic produce and other products from some of our finest local sources.

Opening week hours are 3-7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, July 28 and 29.

For more information call Pam Farnsworth, manager of the new market, at 404-484-0944.
