The Shed at Glenwood, Fri., Oct. 29-Sun., Oct. 31: Halloween celebration throughout the week featuring $20 Buy the Bottle list on Friday, with over 10 wines to choose from. Monumental Ball, Fri., Oct. 29: 3rd annual event at the Magnolia Hall in Piedmont Park to benefit restoration of historic neighborhood monuments. The ball will feature a buffet prepared by Affairs to Remember. Live music by Kingsized. Black-tie dress is optional, and costumes are encouraged. $55. 7-11 p.m.

5 Seasons, Sat., Oct. 30: Halloween party featuring $3 Great Pumpkin Ale, drink specials and some menu specials as well. The Cook’s Warehouse - Midtown, Mon., Nov. 1: Thanksgiving Baking Like a Professional cooking class hosted by George Geary. Learn how to make baked goods, such as Rich Chocolate Almond Flourless Torte, Apple Cheesecake, and the Perfect Pumpking Pie, for Thanksgiving. Atlanta Community Food Bank, Mon., Nov. 1: Second Legends of Atlanta Hospitality Roast. Three of Atlanta’s top chefs, Gerry Klaskala, Anne Quatrano and Kevin Rathbun, will be roasted in support of the ACFB. Rosa Mexicano,Sat., Oct. 30-Sun., Nov. 21: Day of the Dead festival featuring a free cooking demo led by Executive Chef Pedro Santana on October 30. Event features Day of the Dead traditions and select seasonal menu items. A special menu featuring Lobster Pozole and Mexican Cookies and Milk will honor the traditions of All Saints Day, November 1 and All Souls Day, November 2.
