Horrible news: Dynamic Dish, which just underwent redecorating, is for sale and likely to close soon. Bill Addison broke the news on Twitter and I've confirmed it. This is a major loss to the city's dining scene. Owner/chef David Sweeney has garnered a national reputation for his brilliant vegetarian cooking.
Way better news: Sufi's (1814 Peachtree St.) has opened next to R. Thomas in the old Shipfeifer's building. The new Persian restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. Thrillist has the menu, along with pictures. (By the way, nobody, including whoever answers the phone at the restaurant, seems to know the actual name of the restaurant. In some places, it's listed as Sufi's Kitchen. In others, it's Sufi's Atlanta or just Sufi's.)

Wow... I'm so sorry to hear about Dynamic Dish! I've been a big fan of their food and have dined there frequently ever since they opened.
I do think they could have done better by publishing their menu. On several occasions I've gotten there just to find that I didn't want any of 4 or 5 menu items that change daily. That became especially true when they added meat to some of the dishes, since I'm a vegetarian. And while I appreciate their lunch menu tweets (which don't always happen), it never made sense to me why they didn't tweet the dinner menu as well.
Oh well, I'm going to be sad to see them go!
Wow. I'm speechless...another talented, and dedicated cook is losing his restaurant. I hope another local restaurant owner snatches him up. I'd hate to hear that he's moved out of state, (although then he'd probably get a Michelin star). His food is orignal, delicious, and well thought out. And, he's a stand up guy. This makes me very bitter. We're losing this to hot dog stands? David, if you're reading this, I applaud your work. Best of luck in the future.
