Groovy! Scott Peacock, the former chef at Watershed and widely regarded as the nation's master of Southern cooking, was featured on this week's episode of "The Splendid Table." That's American Public Media's wonderful radio show on food and culture. It airs at 12 noon Saturdays on WABE 90.1 FM.

Peacock, who has returned to his native Alabama, talks about his work on "The Alabama Project" with host Lynne Rossetto Kasper. He is documenting senior residents' memories associated with food. A couple of his interviews are excerpted on the show.

You can find the interview on The Splendid Table's website with some associated content or you can click on the player below. Peacock starts talking 1-minute in.
