Jake’s Ice Cream, Rita’s Italian Ice, Lil Ice Cream Dude, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream, Not As Famous Cookie Company, and SereniTea Creamery will be slinging samples. But the day isn’t just about ice cream. The festival also includes fun fitness activities such as jumping rope, hula hooping, and more — you know, to burn off the calories earned in the festival’s ice cream-eating competition. Plus, you can support the festival’s 2016 health initiative at the Fight Cancer Walk before the festivities kick off at 11 a.m. Don’t forget an extra battery pack for your phone. Word has it Piedmont Park is great for catching Pokémon, too. [/atlanta/atlanta-ice-cream-festival/Event?oid=17227488|Details
