Local Three Mon., Oct. 10, 7 p.m. Beer dinner. Local Three presents the unofficial kickoff to Atlanta Beer Week with a five-course beer dinner featuring Victory and Left Hand Brewing Company. Georgia Aquarium Thurs., Oct. 13, 7-10 p.m. Aqua Vino. Georgia Aquarium will be hosting the sixth annual Aqua Vino fundraising event, hosted by Jeff Corwin. Wine and food enthusiasts will enjoy and sample more than 200 fine wines from around the world, gourmet food from Atlanta's premier restaurants, a live, silent auction, as well as lively music. Proceeds will support Georgia Aquarium's veterinary services and research efforts. Details

Mason Murer Fine Art Fri., Oct. 14, 7-11 p.m. 5th Annual Crystal Boots and Silver Saddles. Chefs from JCT Kitchen, Local Three, Woodfire Grill, Davio's, Aria, Holeman & Finch, Rathbun's, Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, Empire State South, Livingston Restaurant + Bar, 4th & Swift, and Purple Rain Restaurant come together to cook for a cause. The race begins at noon in Virginia Highland and ends with a block party at Doc Chey’s Morningside Village shopping center.
