Taste of Atlanta Fri., Oct. 21, 6:30-10:30 p.m. and Oct. 22-23, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Atlanta's premiere food, wine, beer and cocktail festival showcases the diversity of Atlanta's food scene with tastings, chef demonstrations and more. Details

Ray’s Killer Creek Fri., Oct. 21, 7—10 p.m. Spanish Tapas and Wine Event. Chef Tracey Bloom and sommelier Phillip Cooper have teamed up to create a fun and inspiring menu full of casual Spanish tapas and six different wines. Details

The Big Grill Fri., Oct. 21, 7:30-10:30 p.m. Taste of Atlanta kick-off party. Attendees will enjoy access to the city’s best grilled grub. Food Network’s Aarón Sánchez joins local celeb chefs such as Kevin Rathbun for a fun, food-filled evening. Fifteen select restaurants will be onsite with samples to showcase their signature cuisine. P'Cheen Sat., Oct. 22, 2-6 p.m. Annual Old Fourth Ward Pumpkin Carving Contest. Pumpkins will be free for the first ten contestants. All pumpkins will be judged by a mystery panel of judges and will be displayed for
dinner at P’cheen later that evening. The winner will receive a $100 prize. Details.

Decatur Organic Farmer's Market Sat., Oct. 22, 10 a.m. Decatur Food Day. As part of National Food Day, Decatur Active Living will host Decatur Food Day. In addition to sharing health-conscious recipes and free samples, Food Day encourages communities to support sustainable agriculture, fair wages and conditions for farm workers and to reject processed foods.
