Teela Taqueria Fri., Oct. 28, 8 p.m. Disco with the Dead for Halloween. Teela's new monthly disco night kicks off with their Pre-Halloween Disco with the Dead Bash. There will be food and drink specials all night. Come in costume to win special prizes. Details
The Cook’s Warehouse Ansley Mall Fri., Oct 28, 5:50-7:30 p.m. Pizza Demo. In Artisan Pizza and Flatbread in Five Minutes a Day (Thomas Dunne Books, October 25, 2011) Jeff and Zoë will show readers how to use their innovative techniques for lightning-fast breads to make pizzas, flatbreads, and sweet and savory tarts from stored, no-knead dough. Cafe Jonah and The Magical Attic Sat., Oct. 29, 7 p.m. Halloween Seance. The party begins at 7 p.m. with themed cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres in a festive Halloween atmosphere. Guests and staff are invited to dress up in costumes revealing who they might have been in a past life. Sessions with psychics, tarot readers and astrologists will also be offered. Details
