Cafe Jonah and The Magical Attic Sat., Oct. 29, 7 p.m. Halloween Seance. The party begins at 7 p.m. with themed cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres in a festive Halloween atmosphere. Guests and staff are invited to dress up in costumes revealing who they might have been in a past life. Sessions with psychics, tarot readers and astrologists will also be offered. Details

Bella Cucina’s Kitchen Sat., Oct. 29, 11 a.m. The Farm to Kitchen Urban Picnic. Take a tour of the kitchen facility, enjoy discounts on Bella Cucina products and hear about the new community food center. Lunch will be prepared by local celebrity and Top Chef fan favorite, Chef Kevin Gillespie. Kyla Zaro-Moore from Sustenance Design will be conducting a gardening class, Mike Lorey, local meadmaker/brewer, will be sampling out some of his libations and a screening of the documentary, GROW! by Anthony-Masterson, will cap off the day.
