Yesterday, Eater Atlanta announced winners of the 2011 Eater Awards in our city. There are no real surprises, except perhaps in the choice of Guy Wong of Miso Izakaya as Chef of the Year. I only call it a surprise because he is an example of a chef who started with rather low expectations of himself, earning not-so-hot reviews, and then turned into one of Atlanta's uniquest chefs.
One Eared Stag is Eater's Restaurant of the Year and No. 246 takes the award for So Hot Right Now.

I'm an engineer not an English major, but...uniquest? Is there even a word "uniquist," much less "uniquest?" Perhaps "one of Atlanta's most unique chefs" is how it should be written.
@Jadzia, you are correct, there is no such word. By definition, in fact, unique means that it stands alone, so even "most unique" doesn't really make gramatical sense. Of course, people use the word unique to mean "not typical," which is one of its definitions. Sticklers hate that particular use, but it's made its way into the dictionary, so I guess it's fair game.
All that said, I make up words all the time. UNIQUELYEST!!! UNIQUAROONYYY!!!
