Philips Arena announced they will open a new full service restaurant called RED, with Buckhead Life Restaurant Group consulting on the menu. Opening in early 2012, RED will cater to event attendees both before and after performances and Hawks games. The restaurant and bar will be designed so that the court will be visible for fans who don’t want to miss the game, and seating will even spill out into the arena itself.
Today's special at Farm Burger (both locations) will be an ode to Whitney Otawka's elk and pork sausage burger - which kept her in the running on "Top Chef: Last Chance Kitchen" this week. Farm Burger got the recipe straight from the source - but is subbing grassfed beef in for the elk. Otawka will continue to battle other eliminated chefs in the online showdown.

Braves' second baseman Dan Uggla is playing chef at Urban Flats - all in the name of charity. Uggla created three custom, whole-wheat flatbreads to be featured on Atlanta menus through Feb. 29, 2012: The Ballpark Flat, The Chicken Pot Pie Flat and The Mob Hit. The most popular flatbread among customers will be featured on the Atlanta location's menu from March 2012 through February 2013 with 50 percent of flatbread proceeds benefitting Dan Uggla’s Diamonds in the Rough Foundation.
