King of Pops mural painted over

I then called Nick from the King of Pops to find out what happened. Nick explained that the City of Atlanta had come by while he and his brother and the rest of the company were on a trip to Mexico and painted over it. The city said it was in violation of some code.
We're trying to figure out why the hell the city would do this on private property. We'll keep you posted.
UPDATE: Our intrepid reporter Gwynedd Stuart reports that in fact, the building's owner painted over the mural in response to a citation by the city of Atlanta.

It's probably the graffiti task force playing zero tolerance and ruining good murals in the name of eliminating bad tags.

the city of Atlanta inspectors havs way too much time on their hands. They are the terrorists of the government ilk.
