An app for those too drunk to drive

sober_ride.png
You stinking, upchucking, slurring drunk. Yes, I mean you, come New Year's Eve.

Just in time, the Governor's Office of Highway Safety has created a smart-phone app to protect your ass. It's called "Drive Sober GA" and helps users find usually free rides when they are too tipsy to drive on New Year's Eve and Superbowl Sunday:

For New Year's Eve and Super Bowl Sunday, GOHS has created both an Android and Apple iPhone application which allows Georgians to have mobile access to organizations around the state providing free rides home for those who are impaired by alcohol. Whether you are an individual who needs a ride, a party host needing a ride for a guest, a bar or restaurant needing rides for customers, these apps will help you through the process.

The app is available for iPhones and Android phones. It's a free download.
