Is your $14 cocktail really worth its charred ice? "Portlandia's" debut episode of season 2 last week, excerpted here, is entitled "Mixologist":
And then there's this agonizing but oh-so-familiar depiction of trying to get a plain burger in a diner from hell:
UPDATE: I've corrected the code on the second video. This is try no. 3. I hope it continues to work this go-round.

So I wonder how Univision has anything to do with Portlandia. How do you say "Put a bird on it" in Spanish?
Funny...I was wondering the same thing not that long ago - i.e. is the craft cocktail thing past it's era of novelty. Of course, while Atlanta has a handful of restaurants that make great cocktails, they don't have a single speakeasy styled lounge/cocktail den (and no that gimmicky Prohibition place in Buckhead doesn't count). This was a trend that really started to take off 4-5 years ago in NYC, and then spread from there. So, if history is an indicator, Atlanta will start opening up these craft cocktail lounges sometime later this year, then there will be one on every single corner, and the quality will all be shit.
