Doc Chey's Mon., Jan. 23. 7th Annual Chinese New Year's Celebration. Doc Chey's will celebrate the commencement of the Year of the Dragon with its annual Chinese New Year Celebration. Food and drink specials will be available. The restaurant will be raising money for the Atlanta Community Food Bank, so guests are encouraged to bring canned food or cash to donate. Details
Rosebud Mon., Jan. 23, 5:30 p.m. Chinese New Year at Rosebud. To kick off the Chinese New Year, Chef Eyester presents a menu of specials honoring the flavors of Asia and traditional Southern dishes. Specials include bacon and grits (soy braised bacon, ginger salad, pickled egg and Riverview Farm grits), breakfast fried rice (duck, soy braised bacon, Hakurei turnips, corn pops, and scrambled egg), and more. The Rosebud Monday dinner menu and Monday Night Brunch menu will also be available. Details

To celebrate his invitation to cook at the world-renowned James Beard House on Feb. 16 in New York City, Ron Eyester is sharing a special Sound Check dinner with his Atlanta patrons. The chef will present the Beatles-themed menu for a limited crowd at Rosebud. Details
The Shed at Glenwood Tues., Jan. 24, 7 p.m. Jed Steele Winemaker Dinner. Jed Steele, a California wine expert, will host a tasting of a wide variety of the region's wines. The event includes a four-course meal and bottle giveaways. Details
Edgewood Corner Tavern Tues., Jan. 24, 7 p.m. Beer Dinner with Jailhouse Brewing. Edgewood Corner Tavern hosts a Jailhouse Brewing Tap Takeover & Food Pairing at the restaurant. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a three-course paired dinner and pick the brain of the beer boss himself, Jailhouse Brewing brewer Glenn Golden. Details
Meehan's Public House Tues., Jan. 24, 7 p.m. Oskar Blues Dinner. Meehan's Public House will host an Oskar Blues Dinner. The special menu will focus on game animals and monk fish. Guests can enjoy a three-course meal with beer for under $40. Details
Meehan's Public House Thurs., Jan. 26, 7:30 p.m. Elvis Beer Dinner. Meehan’s Public House in Sandy Springs will hold their first Elvis Beer Dinner. The four-course beer dinner will feature an Ommegang beer selection and Elvis-themed dishes. The evening will also include an Elvis cover band, Young Elvis and the Blue Suedes. Details
