Have some live music with your Octopus Bar

Get your grub (and groove) on at Octopus

Octopus Bar, EAV's eclectic late-night eatery, has added live music to the menu. Chef Angus Brown has enlisted the help of his buddy, music writer/promoter Davis Inman, to set up some music nights at Octopus. "We're still working on the concept for music and special nights at Octopus," Inman says, "but there's a definite desire to do more music nights. In the future, expect any musical style from a Django guitar night, to experimental Japanese surf rock, to ambient electronic music."

Octopus' inaugural music night took place on Jan. 17 featuring Nashville two-piece, Andrew Combs. This time around, Moses Archuleta (Deerhunter) and Chris Daresta will be DJing Tue., Jan. 24, 11 p.m.-3 a.m. (tonight!). Stay tuned for news and announcements on upcoming music nights at Octopus.
