Atlanta’s A-list food writer Jennifer Zyman is stepping down from her post as the main editor of Eater Atlanta and shifting to the role of contributing editor. The popular foodie correspondent (and new momma) will return to her role of freelance food writer and restaurant critic for various local and national publications. She says she hopes the move is a better fit for her “currently crazy schedule.” It’ll also mean, she says, more time contributing to her first baby, the seven-year-old Blissful Glutton blog. Another bundle of culinary joy, in our opinion. On managing a new baby with her food writing life, Zyman says, “I plan to take Miss Z around with me to as many restaurants as possible and show her the ropes. With my luck, though, she’ll probably only like Kraft mac and cheese — not that there’s anything wrong with that.”
