Holy inked pork butt, people. The spring issue of Lucky Peach is out. This is the third edition of the "new journal of food writing" offered by the McSweeney's folks. Also spotted on mag covers this month: Red velvet cake at Saveur; Tomato & Stracciatella Pizza at Bon Appétit; and a fried chicken/pimento cheese/bacon biscuit from ESS at Atlanta.
If I had a dime for every time I heard this in the parking lot at Trackside Tavern ... "He will make us drink better & not hate ourselves." - Food Republic tweets about its new cocktail guy, Simon Ford.
Alton Brown's been hashtagging the Twitterverse about new episodes of "The Best Thing I Ever Made." He and his co-stars will "get the party started with their favorite festive recipes!," according to one effusive blurb writer at Food Network.
Hey, Paula, is this a "whites only" community?
