Run by two brothers, Ammazza plans to take inspiration from successful Neapolitan spots like Antico, but focus on using local ingredients rather than those imported from Italy. They'll make their mozzarella in house and have around 30 beers on tap.
Campagnolo, the new Midtown eatery from Peasant Group, is opening to the public on Monday, April 9. The cozy Italian spot will serve rustic dishes with a focus on freshness, featuring locally-sourced meats, and house-made yumminess including pasta and bacon.

Their menu follows the style of places like Farm Burger and Yeah Burger, with specialty burgers and loads of build-your-own options. Beef, turkey, lamb, chicken and mushroom burgers are all available. There are a few salads and hot dogs thrown in for good measure. Moxie Burger serves beer and wine.
Boca Mexican Grill is having a soft opening this weekend on Spring Road in Smyrna. Their chef comes from the Michoacan region of Mexico, and Boca is promising to bring an experience that's more than just tacos and enchiladas.
OpenTable released their list of the nation's Top 100 Dining Hot Spots this week, and Atlanta was represented by Two Urban Licks, Twist, and relative newcomer Do at the View. The list, which is voted on by OpenTable users, is said to showcase hip new restaurants, celebrity chefs and avant-garde restaurateurs.
Wingstop will open in Kennesaw on Chastain Road near Kennesaw State University this May. This is the first of 11 new Wingstop locations being opened in Metro Atlanta by a franchise group.
