Concentrics Restaurants and Richard Blais have announced that chef Adrian Villarreal (of TAP) will join Blais in the kitchen at the Spence. “I am really looking forward to Adrian joining the team” said Blais in a press release. “He is quite the talent and I have no doubt we will have a lot of fun creating memorable dishes.”

Villarreal spent the formative years of his culinary career learning to cook for his family in Mexico before receiving his formal education at Le Cordon Bleu Paris. From Paris, Villarreal made his way to Atlanta, officially launching his career at Joël, and eventually landing the executive chef position at TAP.

Slated to open in May of this year, the Spence will be the latest collaboration between Blais and Concentrics, and the first between Villarreal and Blais in the kitchen.
