Attention social media addicts! A certain "short order cook at a little steak house in the ATL" has joined Twitter. Yep, it's Kevin Rathbun. Get your follow on @RathbunKevin.

While we're talking steak, this month Food & Wine is featuring the best steakhouses nationwide. Their picks in Atlanta are Abattoir and Kevin Rathbun Steak. Honorable mentions go to Bone's, McKendrick's, and Chops.

The AJC says Watershed is planning to open in their new Buckhead location on May 24. What's changed at the new Watershed? There's more space, a private dining room, and a large patio and bar area. They also have a new menu, but don't worry, they will still host a weekly fried chicken night.

Can't wait to get a taste of Blais' new hot spot, The Spence? You're in luck, because tickets are on sale for a preview dinner. The dinner happens on May 12, as a part of the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival.

Decatur Metro reports that Decatur Diner will close, to be replaced by a Mexican restaurant. Over on Tomorrow's New Today, details emerge that the restaurant will be from the team that founded (and then sold) Cinco Mexican Cantina, which has four suburban Atlanta locations. The rep that brokered the deal describes the new concept as a "high energy Mexican restaurant and bar with a street food twist and exciting patio service."

Also in Decatur, Thrillist peeks inside the new Colbeh Persian Kitchen. The cozy, low-lit restaurant on the Decatur Square has a menu that revolves around over a dozen kabob options, plus some creative cocktails that incorporate flavors like saffron and cardamom.

Wrecking Bar Brewpub is in the running for the best brewpub in America. They are currently in a heated battle against an Asheville pub, and they need your votes! Go help a local restaurant out, will ya?

Century House Tavern is opening in Woodstock next month. Located in a historic house in downtown Woodstock, the kitchen is under the direction of executive chef Richard Wilt - known for his Roswell restaurants Salt Factory and INC. Street Food. The menu is a mix of small plates, gourmet sandwiches, and standard American mains, with hearty meat dishes and several seafood options.

Brooklyn Joe's Pizza and Pasta will open this May at The Prado in Sandy Springs. They currently have two locations, one in Milton, and one in Canton. Interestingly, the restaurant's description opens by disclosing that they are run by a decidedly non-Italian boy from Florida. They've got pizza, pasta, wings, deli sandwiches, and more.

Pizzeria Vesuvius is temporarily closed, and What Now Atlanta says they are blaming it on construction of The Atlanta Streetcar. Apparently they are remodeling and will open again in a few months - a tale we've all heard before from other struggling spots.

Dunkin' Donuts has filed permits for construction on a new location on Piedmont Road near Grindhouse.
