Food & Life When Taco Bell gets fresh

Pico de gallo ala Taco Bell, anyone? Just months after the release of Taco Bell's Doritos Locos Taco monstrosity, it was apparently time to visit the other end of the health spectrum. The sign says Fiesta Salsa contains 'ripe tomatoes, real lemon juice, and chopped cilantro."
According to Taco Bell Nutrition Guide Fiesta Salsa contains a few other ingredients, including 'partially hydrogenated corn oil:
Tomatoes, White Or Yellow Onions, Cilantro. Fiesta Salsa Dressing: Diced Green Chili (Green Chilies, Citric Acid), Vinegar, Water, Diced Jalapeño Chili, Partially Hydrogenated Corn Oil, Salt, Garlic Powder, Xanthan Gum, and Less Than 0.1% Sodium Benzoate Added As A Preservative
In reality, Fiesta Salsa looks like a cup of day-old tomatoes tossed with a few flecks of lifeless cilantro and onion. How does it taste? Like day-old diced tomatoes tossed with a few flecks of lifeless cilantro and onion. AND you get like, eight chips to enjoy your salsa with. You're welcome.
