Chef Richard Blais and Bourbon Barrel Foods creator Matt Jamie, with Sommelier Justin Amick, will reinterpret classic Southern dishes by utilizing local ingredients and adding delicious sauces, seasonings and sugars aged in reclaimed bourbon barrels. W Atlanta Midtown Sat., May 12, 7:30 p.m. Whiskey @ Whiskey Park. Sip, savor and explore with whiskey makers while enjoying culinary creations by whiskey-loving chefs. And in the spirit of mixing things up, the evening will feature a DJ spinning alongside a banjo player. Details

Rathbun's Sat., May 12, 7:30 p.m. "Rathbun's Watch List" Dinner. Sat., May 12, 7:30 p.m. The Brothers Rathbun want you to get in on their favorite chefs as they cook alongside 12 chefs and 2 mixologists "to watch" from across the region. Details

Westside Provisions District Sun., May 13, 5 p.m. The Parting Bite: Chorus of Greens Dinner. Atlanta Food & Wine Festival chefs and mixologists will join hosts Anne Quatrano and Linton Hopkins for a very special close to the 2012 Festival. There will be a special performance of Leaves of Green, aka "The Collard Green Opera," written by Price Walden (University of Mississippi) and an abundance of delicious spring dishes to taste.
