If you have to have organic when it comes to food, or eat gluten-free, here's a deal that might make you think twice about driving down to Whole Foods. Green Polka Dot Box (GPDB) is a company that was founded by Rod Smith, a man frustrated by the high prices of organic foods in local stores. Smith also factored in the cost of gas to and from stores, and the time it takes out of our day to battle traffic in order to obtain our beloved organic foods.

Keeping a health-conscious mind, Smith created a company dedicated to offering fresh organic products, gluten-free products, and even pet and baby care items. GPDB offers an annual club membership for $50 that includes free shipping on orders over $99.99. Members also have access to more than 1500 products and 150 national brands.

For those with dietary restrictions, the company also offers more alternatives than most chain grocery stores. Finding gluten-free food in Kroger or Publix is getting easier these days, but it's still a chore. And despite a substantial selection of gluten-free items, Whole Foods' prices aren't exactly wallet-friendly. So for people who are looking for alternatives to wheat and dairy products (that they can actually afford), GPDB could be a good investment.
