Arepa Mia recently opened in the Sweet Auburn Curb Market. Former chef of the now defunct Stella in Grant Park serves up authentic arepas using family recipes she grew up eating in Venezuela. Arepa Mia received the stamp of approval from CL's Cliff Bostock, who says, "You won't find arepas like this anywhere else in the city."

Joining Arepa Mia at the Sweet Auburn Curb Market will be High Road Craft Ice Cream who announced its plans to set up shop at the market by the end of June.

Honeysuckle Gelato has partnered with Cacao Atlanta - Bean to Bar Chocolate. Starting Sat., June 9, fans of the local gelato company and food truck will be able to find Honeysuckle gelato and sorbet at Cacao.

Lure, Fifth Group's forthcoming Midtown seafood restaurant, plans to open July 17.

Earlier this week, we learned that an Italian concept, La Tagliatella, will fill the space that formerly housed Silk. According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the full-service restaurant will serve pizza and pasta, and has also has signed a lease at the Emory Point development. La Tagliatella is expected to open at the end of the year.

We hear that Ford Fry will be adding another addition to his growing family of restaurant concepts to open next February. Fry told Eater that "this project has not quite signed yet so I can't quite speak to it. But it will be cool!"

Eater also reports that a collaboration between Ford and Taria Camerino of Sugar-Coated Radical may also be in the works.

The Tenth Thai Cuisine and Lounge closed this week. What Now Atlanta reports that according to a sign on the front door, a new owner is "coming soon." Mini=3=Thai Sushi Bar will open in the Thai Restaurant's place, according to the sign.

The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports that a Japanese/Korean restaurant named Kiri will take over the space previously occupied by Vietnamese eatery NAM. Also, the Florida-based Burger 21 is coming to the Atlanta area. Burger 21 is a fast-casual burger concept from the owners of the Melting Pot. Two Georgia locations are in the works: one in north Alpharetta and one near the Mall of Georgia.
