Arepa Mia recently opened in the Sweet Auburn Curb Market. Former chef of the now defunct Stella in Grant Park serves up authentic arepas using family recipes she grew up eating in Venezuela. Arepa Mia received the stamp of approval from CL’s Cliff Bostock, who says, “You won’t find arepas like this anywhere else in the city.”

Joining Arepa Mia at the Sweet Auburn Curb Market will be High Road Craft Ice Cream who announced its plans to set up shop at the market by the end of June.

Honeysuckle Gelato has partnered with Cacao Atlanta - Bean to Bar Chocolate. Starting Sat., June 9, fans of the local gelato company and food truck will be able to find Honeysuckle gelato and sorbet at Cacao.

Lure, Fifth Group’s forthcoming Midtown seafood restaurant, plans to open July 17.

Earlier this week, we learned that an Italian concept, La Tagliatella, will fill the space that formerly housed Silk. According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the full-service restaurant will serve pizza and pasta, and has also has signed a lease at the Emory Point development. La Tagliatella is expected to open at the end of the year.
