News Paula Deen to launch prepared food line

Y'all get ready for some Paula Deen cookin' at home. Deen has teamed up with New York-based Nanco Group to develop food products in early 2013. There's no word on what type of packaged goods the mogul will be producing for sale but there will be a combination of perishable and nonperishable items which will feature Deen's traditional recipes, and some of the lighter versions for those of us who don't want two pounds of butter as a side dish.
The Albany native has also been on the search to create a new cooking competition show. Deen, teaming up with Zodiak USA, has been shopping the idea of a game show called "Food Chain," a knockoff of a popular Italian series "Cuochi e Fiamme."
