After a 60-year hiatus, Coca-Cola will make its presence known in Myanmar (also known as Burma). The company withdrew its production in the country due to democratic reforms. Myanmar's recent efforts to respect human rights and step toward a democracy has convinced the U.S. to suspend restrictions on American investments in the country.

Coca-Cola now awaits the issuance of a license allowing them to make such investments. After obtaining the license, the company will be in production in every country except for two: North Korea and Cuba.
