Just because the Fourth of July holiday falls on a Wednesday this year doesn't mean there is going to be any shortage of midweek food events for you to enjoy. Prepare yourself for a day full of star-spangled specials, patriotic patio parties, and lots of booze.
Atkins Park Tavern Wed., July 4, 11 a.m. Fifth Annual Go Whole Hog or Go Home Pig Pickin' Fourth of July Celebration A day of special meaty meals for $15, backyard beer Olympics, and a chance to win more than $500 in prizes. Details
Watershed Wed., July 4, 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m., 5-10 p.m. Chicken Fried Fourth of July Chicken lovers unite! Watershed will be celebrating Amercia with fried chicken specials for lunch and dinner. Details
FLIP Burger Boutique Wed., July 4 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Road Race Rewards FLIP is raising their glass to all 2012 Peachtree Road Race contestants. After the race come get a free milkshake with the purchase of any burger. Remember to wear your Road Race number or t-shirt. Details
TAP Wed., July 4, 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Annual Fourth of July Party Don your red, white and blue to TAP's annual Fourth of July party on their patio. The party starts early in the morning, in time to watch the Peacthree Road Race and to grab some Start Spangled of Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. Details
HD1 Wed., July 4, 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Independence Day Soft Serve Celebrate Independence Day with HD1 and wear your red, white, and blue to receive a free soft serve with any haute dog purchase. Details
Max Lager's Wed., July 4, 11:30 a.m. 4 on the 4th Four is the special number for this celebration. Max Lager's will be celebrating the fourth with $4 Max Beer, Watermelon Coolers, and Lemonade, as well as a special barbecue menu. Every beer purchased is a "Drink Beer Do Good" beer. Details

Marlow's Tavern Wed., July 4, 11:30-12 a.m. Red, White and Brew All Marlow's locations will be hosting their Red, White, and Brew menu through July 23. With that being said, what's a better day to try their star-spangled specials than the Fourth of July?
