News Best of Atlanta 2012 voting starts today

Yes, it's that time of year again: Time to voice your opinions and recognize all your favorite everythings around town - time to demonstrate your unwavering support for deserving people, artists, restaurants, and businesses. (Aw, that's nice of you.) On the other hand, it might just be time to rally all your loyal cyber-followers with a rousing Twitter campaign to get them to vote for you instead. Whatevz!
Because we like you so much, we simplified the voting format to make it easier on you, our beloved readers. This year, we've broken down the voting over five weeks - one category a week - so you don't have to answer 250 questions at once. Each week, a Best of Atlanta ballot closes at midnight on Sunday, and the results will be published Sept. 20. Here's the Best of Atlanta 2012 ballot.
Today, we're starting with Consumer Culture where, on the food front, you can vote for the best wine shop, beer store, and caterer among other things. Voting for ORAL PLEASURES begins July 30, and here's the full voting schedule:

Week 3: POETS, ARTISTS & MADMEN (July 16)
Week 4: CITYSCAPE (July 23)
