The Daily Meal compiled Andrew Zimmern's list of the Top 9 Most Bizarre Foods in America. Spam and American cheese, however, appear strangely normal alongside the rest of Zimmern's picks which include grilled prairie dogs (apparently a thing in New Mexico), and Alaskan stinkheads — fish heads that are buried and left to rot until the bad bacteria dies off and the head is safe to eat again.
