News Shaun Doty to open chicken concept in Atlantic Station

You've probably heard about Shaun Doty's upcoming chicken joint Bantam & Biddy, set to open in Ansley Mall in October. But apparently Doty has another fast-casual chicken concept in the works, this time in Atlantic Station. The yet-to-be-named restaurant scheduled to open at the end of this year will feature wood-grilled chicken, and sounds awfully similar to the Bantam & Biddy model.
Mark Toro, managing partner at North American Properties, made the announcement Saturday during the BB&T Atlanta Open at Atlantic Station, the same day Meehan's (local Irish pub) and BGR Burger Bistro held their official openings.
“Since North American Properties and CBRE Global Investors purchased Atlantic Station on New Year’s Eve 2010, we have successfully turned this property around, creating an experience and presenting an offering that resonates with residents and families in Midtown Atlanta,” said Toro. “We’ve brought in more than 15 new tenants, including local entrepreneurs such as Shaun Doty and Meehan's and first-to-Georgia concepts like Athleta. It just keeps getting better and better at Atlantic Station.”
And speaking of local eats in Atlantic Station, the Yumbii and Café at Pharr's pop-up in the former Grape space is still chuggin' along and will continue through Sun., Aug 5. The menu features a selection of each eatery’s most popular dishes like the Yumbii Philly and Café at Pharr's curried chicken salad.
