Sept. 1 marks the first day of Midtown Restaurant Week 2012, and this year's lineup is huge. Participating restaurants will offer either a $25 or $35 three-course, prix fixe dinner menu (plus tax and tip) and the option of a $15 three-course, prix fixe lunch menu.

4th and Swift, Abattoir, Atmosphère, Baraonda, BOCADO, Briza, Campagnolo, Corner Tavern, Cucina Asellina, Cypress Street Pint & Plate, Ecco, eleven at Loews Atlanta Hotel, Escorpion, FLIP burger boutique, Gilberts, Goin' Coastal, HD1, HOBNOB, Livingston, Lobby at TWELVE, Melting Pot, Murphy’s, Oceanaire, ONE Midtown Kitchen, Park 75, Pasta da Pulcinella, Publik Draft House, ROOM, Rosa Mexicano, Serpas True Food, Shout, South City Kitchen, Spice Market, STK, Steel Restaurant & Lounge, Strip, TAP, The Lawrence, The Nook and Veni Vidi Vici.
And don't forget Cliff Bostock's one earnest plea: "Tip servers at least 30 percent. They are working just as hard as they would to serve you a la carte."
