Bell Street Burritos celebrated its grand opening on Friday at its new location at the Irwin Street Market (660 Irwin St.). Bell Street Burritos moved to its new spot after closing its previous location on Howell Mill.
La Pietra Cucina is relaunching. Sporting a new name ("LPC") and introducing Executive Chef, Russell Kook, the restaurant "will offer the best in high quality, casual, approachable and accessible Italian fare." Chef Kook hails from acclaimed restaurants, including David Burke (Las Vegas), cibo matto (Chicago), and The Florentine (Chicago).
Ammazza has announced that it will open on Mon., Sept. 24 in Atlanta's Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. Amazza offers a locally driven dinner menu of authentic Italian cuisine and pizza.
Waffold closes just six weeks after its opening due to a "series of unfortunate circumstances."
Based out of Birmingham, AL, Mamanoes Grocery Shop is now open in Midtown, on the corner of Tenth and Peachtree St. Mamanoes is bringing its "old-school but upscale bodega" to Atlanta.

The Lawrence is now open for Sunday brunch, brought to you by executive chef Shane Devereux. Brunch will be from 11 a.m.-3 p.m
A new entrance to Kevin Rathbun Steak from Sampson street is currently under construction.
Article 14 is opening in Midtown. Brought to you by Legacy Restaurant Partners in partnership with Managing Partner Brian Bullock, Article 14 will incorporate "worldly" flavors by chef Bernard McDonough.
Olmsted is now open at the intersection of 14th and Peachtree. Olmsted will offer "an eclectic mix of flavors from America’s best dishes."
In case you missed it, Star Provisions was named one of the top 5 cheese shops in the U.S. by cheese master Laura Werlin in a recent article in Food & Wine magazine. Werlin comments on Tim Gladdis as an "unsung hero...tireless in his efforts to source great cheese..."
According to What Now Atlanta, The Nest in Decatur reopens as Scoreboards Bar and Grill. Scoreboards features wide-screen TVs, two full bars, a DJ booth, hookah lounge, and event space.
Tomorrow's News Today reports that Atlanta Diner on North Druid Hills is closed. The restaurant had been a part of the Atlanta community since the mid '90s. What will take over the now vacant spot is still up in the air.
