Battle & Brew Mon., Sept. 24, 11 a.m. Battle & Brew Turns 7! B&B is celebrating its 7th birthday bash with cake and drink specials all day! Details.

Dr. Bombay's Mon., Sept. 24, 6:30 p.m. Authentic Indian Dinner. A four course Authentic Indian Dinner where the proceeds go directly back to a women's scholarship program in Darjeeling, India. $20 buys you an enormous amount of food in a fun filled environment where you can give back to education. The Cook's Warehouse Brookhaven Mon., Sept. 24, 7 p.m. Simple Abundance Class with Chefs from Watershed on Peachtree. Chefs Truex and LeRoy will demonstrate how to prepare Celery Root Soup with chevre and pumpernickel toast; Roasted Quail with cornbread stuffing, collard greens and quail jus; and Almond Cake with fig preserves and whipped honey mascarpone. The evening includes wine tastings sponsored by Sherlock’s Wine Merchant and a chance to win tasty door prizes provided by Bella Cucina Artful Foods and Cabot Cheese. Details.

Highlights from the specialty three-course menu include house kippered Atlantic salmon with avocado cream cheese, toasted corn and pickled onion; crispy Brussels sprouts salad with North Georgia apples, crema, apple cider reduction and toasted pistachios and much more. Le Caveau Fine Wines Wed., Sept. 26, 6-8 p.m. Wine tasting at Le Caveau Fine Wines. Join François Hurtel of Terrisson Wines in a wine tasting through their portfolio of unique French wines. Details.

Atlanta Wine School Wed., Sept. 26, 7 p.m. Viva Italia! Guests will learn about Italian wine history and the country’s top three wine regions with a visual presentation with Paul Kelly Wheeler. Select Italian dishes, such as salumi, antipasto, artisanal cheeses and fish, and nine wines for tasting will be provided. Details.

The restaurant’s wine director, and sommelier have partnered with the Spanish winery to serve a five-course meal paired with five different sherries. Details.

Nicola's Restaurant Thu., Sept. 27, 7 p.m. Destination Lebanon. Chef Nicola H. Ayoub will personally share with you his rich tradition and cuisine. You will get to eat a multiple course family style Lebanese dinner, sampling most of the items off Nicola's menu. He will discuss his perspective on the country's tourism, politics and people during a piece "Lebanon - then and now." At the end of the evening, you will get a private dance lesson & learn to dance to the famous Lebanese tunes. Details.

Meehan's Public House - Sandy Springs Thu., Sept. 27, 7 p.m. MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR: A Beatles Dinner at Meehan's Public House Sandy Springs. Meehan’s will be hosting their first “Magical Mystery Tour”, a one of a kind Beatles-themed dinner featuring great food, drink pairings and music all inspired by the Fab Four. Details.

Riverview Landing Fri., Sept. 28, 6-11 p.m. Urban Hoedown. The "Urban Hoedown" kicks off a night program which will include live music by The Constellations, Sealions and Turf Wars, a "Hairy Man" contest where men with impressive facial hair have a chance to win a $300 bar tab to Ormsby's, a bonfire, beer and lots of star gazing. Tickets for this event are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Details.

Cypress Street Pint & Plate Tue., Sept. 25, 7 p.m "Dales of Hazzard" Beer Greek Tuesday. Bust out your Daisy Dukes and cowboy hats, because Cypress Street Pint and Plate is paying homage to Atlanta's southern roots with a special edition of Beer Geek Tuesday on September 25, 2012. The Dales of Hazzard Beer Geek will feature all things southern during what has been deemed Cypress' "Redneck Oktoberfest.â Hay bales, pumpkins and fried frog legs will set the scene for this hoedown, which will feature Redneck Olympic Games and, of course, no party is complete without beer pong. Not to be forgotten, the featured brewery for this edition of Beer Geek will be Oskar Blues Brewery. Details.

Miso Izakaya Thu., Sept. 27, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and Fri., Sept. 28, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Villains. Villains (the new hero sandwich concept with chefs Jared Lee and Jason MccLure - former Richard Blais disciples) is doing a pop up lunch next Thursday & Friday at Miso Izakaya. Miso will be closed for lunch those days, so there will be no ramen lunch, just Villains. Details.
