Miso Izakaya Fri., Sept. 28, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Villains. Villains (the new hero sandwich concept with chefs Jared Lee and Jason MccLure - former Richard Blais disciples) is doing a pop up lunch next Thursday & Friday at Miso Izakaya. Miso will be closed for lunch those days, so there will be no ramen lunch, just Villains. Details.

Der Biergarten Sat., Sept. 29 Munich on Marietta Street Oktoberfest Celebration. Kicking off with the traditional tapping of the keg, Der Biergarten’s “Munich on Marietta Street” Oktoberfest celebration will feature authentic German food and beer, festive décor and live entertainment. Details.

Riverview Landing Fri., Sept. 28, 6-11 p.m. Urban Hoedown. The "Urban Hoedown" kicks off a night program which will include live music by The Constellations, Sealions and Turf Wars, a "Hairy Man" contest where men with impressive facial hair have a chance to win a $300 bar tab to Ormsby's, a bonfire, beer and lots of star gazing. Tickets for this event are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Details.

Stone Mountain Memorial Park Sat., Sept. 29, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Great Miller Lite Chili Cook-Off. Approximately 300 teams from across the country will battle it out for bragging rights for the best chili, Brunswick stew and cornbread. As hungry attendees sample all that the competitors have to offer and take advantage of nonstop games and activities, they will also be treated to some of the nation's best tribute bands that will sure to keep them rocking from start to finish. Cozee Teas Sat., Sept. 29, 12-2 p.m. Tea Therapy with Kenya Jackson. Kenya Jackson will be hosting Tea Therapy Cozee Teas in Decatur. Tickets include a selected blend of healing teas, yummy nibbles and an invigorating and interactive discussion with Kenya on the topic "An Idea, An Identity, An Outcome: Learning to Recognize then Release your Attachments." Vinings Jubilee Sat., Sept. 29 Vinings Restaurant Week presented by Vinings Jubilee. This fall, Vinings Jubilee presents the first ever Vinings Restaurant Week, spotlighting the best neighborhood restaurants and excellent cuisine in Vinings. Dig into dining options from 18 participating restaurants at three affordable price points ($15, $25 and $30). Details.

SoHo Fri., Sept. 28- Sun., Sept. 30; 5:30 p.m. Weekly Tapas and Wine at SOHO — Central California.This month, the knowledgeable staff guides guests through the wines of Central California including Paso Robles, Santa Lucia, Santa Barbara and Monterey. Each wine is paired with tapas specifically matched to the wines by Executive Chef Joe Ahn. The selections change weekly and are rolled out each Wednesday. Pricing: $9 per glass or $13.50 per flight (three, three-ounce tasting portions) $6 per tapas or $12 per glass paired with one tapas. Details.
