In just a matter of weeks, CL’s annual food issue will be dished out to newsstands and across the web. This year, we’re looking at the obsessive and quirky side of Atlanta dining in hopes of deconstructing what can only be described as Atlanta's food fetish. There are thousands of restaurants in this city, and we need your help to showcase the sexy side of Atlanta cuisine. In other words, we want to see your homemade food porn!

Send us your photos of your off-the-wall eating habits, secret 'get in ma mouth’ obsessions, and down-right sexy dishes captured in a single image. This is your chance to illustrate your favorite food fetish and dishes in all their gluttonous foodie glory and share it with the rest of Atlanta and be published in Creative Loafing. It can be anything from a plate of food at your favorite restaurant to the green apple you eat at 2 p.m. every Monday.

Capture a photo of your culinary quirks, mind-boggling habits, or straight-up food porn and send it our way by Oct. 22, 2012. We’ll include the best of the best in our Food Issue out Oct. 25, and the rest in an online photo gallery.

Be sure to describe the picture. Give us the what, where, and why of it all. Send 'em all to photos@cln.com or shout it on Twitter with the #ATLfoodfetish hashtag.

PLEASE NOTE! This is not a free advertisement. We want to hear from the taste buds of everyday Atlantans, not restaurant owners and staff. Please refrain from submitting photos of the place you work.

Stephanie Dazey, Associate Editor of Food here at CL, has been kind enough to get the ball rolling. Here are her e-mail and twitter submission examples for the picture featured above:

Email submission:

Tonkotsu ramen @ Umaido.

The rich Tonkotsu broth and tender pork are disarmingly satisfying, but the texture of Umaido's ramen noodles are nothing short of transcendent. Rarely does the simple act of chewing melt into sensory euphoria the way it does with these handmade strands of felicity. Slurp. Chew. Savor. Repeat...often.
