Historic Fourth Ward Park Sat., Oct. 6, 12-7 p.m. Hotoberfest.vPromising food trucks and some 250 craft beers at a Beltline-convenient location, this year's festival will benefit Trees Atlanta and Legacy World Missions. Details
The Terrapin Beer Co. Sat., Oct. 6, 4:30 p.m. Third Annual Hop Harvest Festival. Live music by the Welfare Liners and Border Hop Five, tasty food, and the harvesting of the brewery's own hop garden. There will also be 16 casks on hand, each dry-hopped with a different hop variety, as well as the release of So Fresh & So Green, Green. All available glasses will be offered for pre-sale. Wrecking Bar Brewpub Oct. 5-7 Raise a Stein to Oktoberfest at Wrecking Bar Brewpub. Beginning Saturday, Sept. 22, the Wrecking Bar Brewpub will be raising our steins along with the rest of Munich, Germany! We’ll be serving up German specials including Bernhard's Bavarian Pretzels and Delia's Chicken & Patak Bratwurst and Jaeger Schnitzel, to name a few. We'll also be paying homage to German brewing with a small batch of Oktoberfest beer in addition to pouring our Rauchbier, Kölsch and Hefeweizen. Details
Der Biergarten Oct. 5-7, 12 p.m. Munich on Marietta Street Oktoberfest Celebration. Atlanta’s only true German beer garden hosts Oktoberfest from September 22 — October 7 in downtown’s Luckie Marietta District. Der Biergarten’s “Munich on Marietta Street” celebration will kick off with the traditional tapping of the keg and feature authentic German food and beer specials, festive décor and live bands along with special events including a Brat Eating Contest with pro eater Grace Lee and Oktoberfest Olympics on Oct. 7. STATS Saturdays, 11 a.m. Continues through Dec. 1 STATS College Football Fever. STATS is Atlanta’s big game headquarters for college football. With five designated game zones, STATS is the only restaurant in the city to show five different games with sound at the same time every single Saturday.
