Restaurants Still the best junk-food dessert in town

Zesto on Ponce de Leon! Unfortunately, my "Fat Boy" burger came close to being repulsive. Its two skinny, gray patties had utterly no flavor. The fries weren't bad, though.
But the real reason I used the Scoutmob deal was to get a half-price Toffee Coffee Arctic Swirl. This is still my favorite junk-food dessert in the city. It's soft-serve ice cream blended with coffee syrup and something like Heath Bars.
Naturally, I was busted while I was pigging out at Zesto. I heard someone say, "You're not reviewing the food at Zesto, are you?"
I looked up to see Adam Backmeyer, who was with TOP FLR in the early years. He now runs an organic garden. I asked him his excuse for being there and he blamed his girlfriend, whose dinner he was picking up. Yeah, whatever.
I started eating Toffee Coffee Arctic Swirls 20 years ago when I lived a block away in an apartment building-cum-crackhouse. Sometimes, the mother of the crack dealer walked to Zesto with me. She always paid, fishing bills out of a big pocketbook literally stuffed with cash and cigarettes. The good ole days.
