Quick Bites Quick Bites: Buckhead IHOP closes, update on Yum Bunz, and more

Thai restaurant Spoon closed its Westside location at 768 Marietta St. over the weekend. Spoon Eastside will remain open at 749 Moreland Ave.
Yum Bunz, the quick-serve dim sum restaurant from Chow Baby creator Mike Blum and chef Guy Wong of Miso Izakaya will open on the Westside in February at 935 Marietta St.
Eastside Lounge will soon close its doors, following its recent sale to a new owner.
The IHOP, located in the heart of Buckhead at 3122 Peachtree Road , closed on Christmas Eve after 19 years of operation.
Ford Fry, owner of JCT. Kitchen & Bar, No. 246, and The Optimist officially announced that he has signed a lease to open a new restaurant in Buckhead. The unnamed restaurant will go in The Pinnacle Building at the corner of Peachtree and Lenox Roads in the space that formerly housed Bluepointe.
In case you missed it, the popular Poncey-Highland tapas joint Pura Vida will close its doors after a 12-year run following service tonight. Owners Hector and Leslie Santiago are exploring their options and currently seeking out potential partners and/or investors for future projects.
Savi Urban Market plans to open its third location (in addition to Inman Park and Brookhaven) at the Tuxedo Festival shopping center (3655 Roswell Road) in Buckhead, Tomorrow's News Today reports, in the space formerly occupied by Party City. According to Savi's website, Midtown and Emory locations of the urban market are "Coming Soon..."
