Food figures to watch in 2013

This week, CL's 20 People to Watch issue hits the stands. This year, the list includes several Atlanta food figures to keep an eye out for in 2013:

Paul Luna: The unlikely candidate
It seems Luna's inconsolable frustration with City Hall has finally gotten the better of him as the enigmatic chef and rabble-rouser voices his plan to run for mayor in 2013.

Katie Hayes: The local food advocate
Hayes is the market manager for the East Atlanta Village and Grant Park farmers markets and executive director of local non-profit Community Farmers Markets. In the coming months, CFM will "focus on helping local entrepreneurs start and run community-minded food ventures through better training for farmers, grant writing workshops, and business planning."

Matt Liotta: The farmer of the future
Liotta is a trained computer scientist turned high-tech farmer whose repurposed storage containers just might be the future of sustainable, urban farming.

Grant Henry: The nightlife builder
You know him as the brains behind Sister Louisa's Church of the Living Room and Ping Pong Emporium. In 2013, Henry will make plans for his next concept bar on Edgewood Ave., one that will "pay homage to the neighborhood's civil rights history."
